Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving operational excellence across Kindthread’s global supply chain. This role will oversee all aspects of Sourcing and Production, Supply and Demand Planning, and Logistics to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of products across all channels. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will play a strategic and hands-on role in scaling operations to support business growth, margin improvement, and an elevated customer experience.
We are transforming an industry, and that transformation starts from within. The COO will play a critical role in simplifying complexity, driving integration and innovation, and building a scalable platform for growth. If you're energized by operational challenges and excited to lead meaningful transformation, this could be the opportunity for you.

- Oversee end-to-end Logistics and Distribution, including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain agility.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier and manufacturing relationships aligned with Kindthread’s brand standards and ESG commitments.
- Partner closely with the CFO, Merchandising, Product Development, and Technology teams to align operational plans with financial goals and product strategies.
- Implement and leverage tools, systems, and analytics to enhance visibility, performance tracking, and decision-making across the supply chain.
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team through strong leadership, coaching, and professional development.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive experience in global sourcing, production, supply chain planning, and logistics within the apparel, fashion, or consumer products industry.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem solving and process improvement.
- Team-oriented leader with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with enterprise planning and supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, PLM, WMS, demand planning tools).
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles, with specific focus on sourcing, planning, and logistics.
