Description
The Manager of New Business Development will play a key role in driving new business growth and customer acquisition within the healthcare apparel market. This individual will focus on identifying, qualifying, and developing business opportunities within healthcare facilities across the United States. The role is centered on personal sales performance, and while team leadership is not required immediately, there is a long-term opportunity to help build and lead a team as the business grows.

Core Responsibilities
- Leverage our Image Program solution to generate new healthcare customers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proactively generate new business through outbound sales activities, including securing appointments, presenting solutions, and developing tailored proposals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through a combination of phone, email, and social selling efforts.
- Create and execute a customer engagement strategy, which includes both virtual and in-person meetings as well as industry events.
- Manage the sales process from initial outreach to proposal submission, working closely with leadership, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Communicate our corporate capabilities and value proposition clearly and effectively to C-suite executives and other decision-makers.
- Analyze customer needs to provide customized solutions and deliver compelling proposals, case studies, and ROI analyses.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and executing effective sales strategies.

Required Skills/Abilities
- 4-7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in healthcare apparel or a related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving new business opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with C-suite executives.
- Self-driven with a strong ability to work independently while managing a robust sales pipeline.
- Skilled in using CRM and lead management tools to track sales progress and customer interactions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
- Travel up to 25% – 50% of the work week to meet with prospective clients, attend industry events, and build relationships within healthcare facilities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant experience in the healthcare apparel or B2B sales space is preferred.
Compensation
Base salary of $90,000 - $100,000 with commission potential, with an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of $140,000 - $160,000. Kindthread encourages applications from candidates at all levels, where pay will be based on experience.
